ThesisGlow Reading Copilot

Effective date: June 12, 2026

ThesisGlow helps readers understand articles by highlighting argument structure, generating reading summaries, and adding contextual vocabulary translations directly on the page.

Information ThesisGlow Processes

When you ask ThesisGlow to analyze or translate a page, the extension may process visible article text, selected words, sentence context, generated highlights, generated summaries, and vocabulary items you save.

How Information Is Used

Page text and selected word context are used only to provide ThesisGlow's user-facing reading features: argument mapping, summaries, inline translations, concept explanations, and vocabulary memory.

AI Processing

To generate analysis and translation results, relevant text may be sent securely to ThesisGlow's API and AI service providers. ThesisGlow does not sell personal data or use page text for advertising.

Local Storage

The extension stores settings and vocabulary memory in Chrome local storage on your device. This can include saved words, translations, concept notes, learned status, target language, and reading level.

Data Sharing

ThesisGlow shares data only as needed to provide the requested reading features, operate the service, comply with law, or protect the product from abuse. ThesisGlow does not sell user data.

Your Choices

You can disable the extension, remove generated inline translations from a page by refreshing it, clear saved vocabulary through Chrome extension storage, or uninstall the extension at any time.
